Kroger–Albertsons Investor Ghouls Salivating Over Likely Merger in January
Investors are having difficulty containing the drool dripping from the corners of their mouths while planning arbitrage strategies
What do ghouls do when they’re looking for a quick meal? First, it starts with intense salivation, which progresses to the second stage: the slippage of drool from the corner of the ghoul’s mouth. The larger the potential meal, the larger the volume of drool. It’s a proportional ratio.
Next, they go hunting through the investment-sphere looking for large and satisfying meals. One such investment that fits that description is MERGER ARBITRAGE (all caps intentional in order to create more excitement). Investor ghouls are gushing with excitement on their websites in tender-loving expectation of the possibilities of arbitrage strategies at the point in time when the Kroger-Albertson’s merger takes place. The FTC may give the green light for the merger as early as January 17.
